Kirby Cottages is a planned community of pedestrian-oriented, ultra-energy efficient and affordable single family cottage homes nestled into an established residential neighborhood in South Burlington, Vermont.

While reminiscent of the early 20th century arts and crafts bungalow style, these modern homes are being built using advanced techniques and technologies to minimize construction waste, energy use, and environmental impact. Materials have been selected with an eye fixed on their long-term performance and durability. The design process was characterized by a simple goal: to build beautiful, sustainable, and affordable homes that we would be proud to offer for sale.

Construction began in May 2009 and is scheduled for completion in early spring of 2011. 12 Lily, our last affordable cottage, was crafted from the shell of the original home on the site and was sold in October. 22 Lily, our last custom cottage, is being finished for its new owner and will be completed this winter.
